Langtons Court set in a quiet corner of Alresford, is just five minutes from the centre of town, parking can be arranged prior to arrival. Araminta is an interior designer with projects both here and in France where she also has a stunning village house which she rents throughout the year. Her home is simple but elegant with antiques, paintings, books and a piano which you are welcome to play. It’s a short stroll to the centre of the town, with it’s weekly market, coloured Georgian houses and lively Music and Watercress Festivals. There are a variety of restaurants and pubs including a popular Tapas Bar. For steam enthusiasts the Watercress Line is a mere five minutes walk from the house.
Enjoy a walk along the river and take in the beautiful country side, or visit the historic sites of Winchester a 20 minute drive away. Every Summer The Grange Festival offers opera and ballet to it’s visitors in a stunning setting, picnic in the lovely grounds, or book dinner in the romantic dining room.
Winchester with it's renowned cathedral and historic sites of interest including the fabled King Arthur's Table offers something for everyone and is within easy driving distance. There is also a popular theatre and many restaurants from which to choose.
